Technical rules additional notes
On rule 2.10.1: ballast, which can only be placed under the driver or driver's cockpit part, may be in one single piece or split across pieces
NI2. Removal of Nissan rear wheel covers is considered a race-time repair and as such must be treated.
The pit stop marshal, who is the only person authorised to pick up and put back cars from/to the track, will serve cars on a first come - first served basis and will deliver them to the repair table.
Same applies for returning car to track.
Be informed that, until the removal of rear wheel covers is performed, said covers are considered integral part of the body, and hence must be restored, during racing time, in case of accidental loss.
Further, it is forbidden to restore, and subsequently remove, covers, during one single pit stop.
Be also informed that regarding wheel width, rule 0.3 states that the maximum rear axle width must not exceed the body width, regardless of body shape, straight or tapered. In other words, no part of the wheel or tyre may protrude from the body when the model is looked at from above.
Scrutineering
Teams will be grouped in groups of 10 or 12 in order to proceed to scrutineering as per section 7 of the rules.
For said cross-scrutineering a draw will be made, valid for all groups of teams.
Besides, one of the models per team will be randomly picked and checked directly by the organizers (M.Ferrari / C.Savarese).
Should said model require any modifications, the team shall have 5' (300") to restore the model to legal state, after which, repairs must continue during live race time.
